EXPERIENCE DOROTHY FULDHEIM – April 23

EXPERIENCE DOROTHY FULDHEIM
Cleveland’s Television Legend

Dorothy (1893-1989) was a pioneering woman in the field of journalism. She was the first woman to anchor a U.S. TV news broadcast and was also a respected radio commentator. Dorothy was known for her exceptional interviewing skills and had the ability to get highly visible people to open up to her. She was a flamboyant character and made her presence known, gaining a large following of viewers and listeners.

In an upcoming theatrical production, Dorothy will be portrayed by Anne McEvoy, a professional actor and longtime associate of Women in History. Anne is passionate about telling the fascinating stories of women who have helped shape America and the world, but who are all too often left out of the history books.

If you want to experience the story of Dorothy, head to 6656 Center Road, Valley City, OH on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 pm. This event is sponsored by the Liverpool Historical Society, and the Fellowship Hall is graciously provided by Emmanuel UCC. 330 418 3243
