What is your story? How did you begin your business in Valley City? Who or what helped your business to grow?

The Liverpool Township Bicentennial Committee wants to know the story of your business. Our committee has been hard at work planning events to celebrate Liverpool Townshipcentennial birthday in 2010. One of the main projects for this historic year is to write and collect the history of Liverpool/Valley City. This history would not be complete without knowing the who, what, when, where and why of your business and how it has impacted the development of Valley City.

Our committee is asking for local businesses that have been a part of the community to submit a 1/2 page typed (250-300 word) story of their business with one photo by September 1, 2008. These stories will provide reference points for our historical writers and will be archived at the Depot Meeting Place and Museum in downtown for future historians. Some business stories may be chosen to be published in a history book to be written and distributed in the summer of 2009. Be sure to make your name and business a permanent part of Liverpool Township/Valley City history!
