Special People

The most Special 'People" each year are our frogs!

'Professor' Jay Reynolds caught frogs for the first Jump back in 1962 and is still active in our event. Here he conducts his ever popular Frog School

Dr Neil Grabenstetter, MD has been Major Domo of the Bullpen for close to 30 years. He used to iron man it, but now works from 11 to 2

We invite candidates for political office to judge our Jump. Bill Batchelder, Ohio State Representative, has done so for many years

Michael Kovack, Medina County Auditor, has been our stalwart announcer for many years. Except when US Navy duty took him elsewhere
Joe Dangelo pioneered making public announcements this year so people away from the jumping ring could be kept informed

Each year London, OH has a Strawberry Festival. This year's Miss Strawberry is Emilee Edwards (right). Emily Davis is Jr Miss Strawberry, 1st Attendant. Here they present ring coordinator Barb Knight with a strawberry basket.

They did enjoy their visit with us very, very much. They hesitatingly touched their 1st real frog, and eventually held one

Their goal is to see how many Festivals they can visit in their year long reign. Mementos from each visit, already well over 40, are worn on back of their sashes. Goal is 100.
