Upcoming Events:

Rockin’ River Rally:  This is a potential event that is being considered by the Valley City Chamber to increase community involvement socially and economically.  If any of you have been to the Rally in the Alley in downtown Medina, this is the function we are modeling Rockin’ River Rally after.  We have also consulted with the owner of Main Street Café and Rally in the Alley.  The Rally is being considered for one weekend evening in June or July downtown.  There will be a live band that plays music for all ages, food from local Valley City businesses, beverages including a beer truck.  The event is still in the planning stages and we are asking for people who are interested in volunteering to help out with the concessions (Boosters, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or other non-profits) in support of their groups.  We would like Chamber Members and the community’s input, so feel free to share your ideas, comments and donations by emailing Michael Cox at Michael@valleycityservice.com or call 330.483.7042.

St. Patrick’s Day Theme Open House and General Meeting:  You are invited to attend the Valley City Chamber Of Commerce’s open house on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:30pm at the Liverpool Community Center, 6801 School Street, Room 102 and in the Cafeteria.  There will be corned beef sandwiches, macaroni salad, cookies and beverages served.  Please come to check out your new Chamber office and learn more about what we are planning for 2007 for you and our community at the 7:00 pm General Meeting.  All 2007 Officers and Directors will be introduced.
